Just as there are good and bad hunters, there are good and bad mountain bikers. At Exoride, we are sensitive to the growing problems of coexistence with different users of mountain trails and the preservation of fauna and flora.

Recognized players in the mountain biking industry for many years, we strive to make known and respect the standards of use so that all mountain bike community can continue to enjoy our beautiful nature and have fun with the natural elements, while maintaining good relationships with the different users and stakeholders of the mountain.

These few rules will also protect you from an injury or serious accident.

Here are some useful recommendations that will make you a perfect Exorider...

  • I ride a mountain bike in good condition and adapted to my practice
  • I always wear a helmet and gloves. Knee pads and elbow pads will also prevent you from some inconvenience in the event of a fall.
  • I carry a backpack for repair kits and extra clothing suitable for my outing.
  • I always have the repair kit with me and the necessary skills for small breakdowns (puncture, broken chain, etc.)
  • I always have a complete first aid kit with me.
  • I always carry a cell phone with me, especially if I ride alone in isolated places.
  • I find out about the weather and conditions in the mountains.
  • I know my physical capabilities and adapt my routes accordingly.
  • I remain in control of my speed and signal my arrival.
  • I don't ride off trails to preserve vegetation. I don't cut pins.
  • I respect the signs, including bans on mountain bikes.
  • I'm leaving with all the trash I brought. No trash remains after my passage.
  • I make sure to always close the cow pens and fences.
  • I remain courteous to other users. I stop to let the walkers pass.
