This nine days all-mountain MTB trip offer a combination of riding long remote singletracks et hicking section to go through the huge central High-Atlas mountains to discover the lunar slopes of 4'070 meters high summit of M'goun. Ready for challenging?

Day 1 - Marrakech

Dès As soon as you arrive at Marrakech airport, you will meet your guides and drivers and we will first go to our safe technical local in Marrakech to assemble our mountaibikes and let all unnecessary things and bike cases. You will have a last look on the busy center of Marrakech, ignoring at this time that you will experience an amazing sportive and human adventure. We prefer not saying too much about what is expecting you to not disturb your sleep... patience.

Day 2 - Marrakech / Imi n'Ifri

We will leave Marrakech by car early in the morning to drive to remote valley in central High Atlas and you will profit of this long four our transfer to discover huge colorful scenery. Then we will start riding for a first warmup ride of 25 kilometers mixing technical section and pedaling parts. We will sleep in a familial gite and you will probably already forget the absolute comfort of your Marrakech riad... adventure really begins.

Day 3 - Aït Bouli

After your breakfast, you will be surprised to see that our driver has gone and was changed by mules. Those animals are useful in this remote area without roads or access and you will be surprised by their effeciency. Our new berber friends and their mules will be a precious part of our team for the upcoming days, giving this adventure a unique taste of pure adventure.

But don't worry, even if those mules are faster than us  to go up carrying our bikes and bags, they will always be waiting for you on the top of ascent, to let us taking back our bikes to ride down these wild regions. So after three days hicking into some deep valley, we will ride a long and flowy trail to join our next gite.

Day 4 - Tassaout region

Early in the morning, we will all start again for a long four hours hicking section that will let us have a look on all nice scenery around us and reach a 3'000 meters high pass. This ascent give you room for photos and enjoy the silence of the area. Then we will join a nice authentic berber village Amezri, where we will be hosted by a local family for dinner and sleep.

4 hours hicking

Day 5 - Ameskar region

Once again, our energy will be saved by the help of our friendly mules and we will hit a first ascent up to 3'200 meters high. We will ride close to M'goun slopes and you will enjoy the lunar terrain asking yourself on what planet you landed following a very nice singletrack mixing technical section anf flowy fast lines .

A traditional tajine and mint tea in a berber family guesthouse will close this new intense hicking and riding day.

Day 6 - Ouzighimt region

We will reach a 3'000 meters high pass again close to Tizi n'Aït Hamd offering an awesome view on Saghro mountains, before using a long singletrack to go down Ouzighimt valley.

Once again, we will enjoy legendary beber hospitality to share a delicious dinner and have a quiet sleep.

Day 7 - Aït Bouguemez region

We will start our journey with a 2 hours hicking uphill to go in direction of Aït Bouguemez valley after joining a lst high pass. This will be also time to definitly leave our fellow mules who take care of our bikes and energy. Already missing this friendly animal, you will start a last amazing trail to get some vertical drop between drifty turns and fast sections to join a place called "Happy Valley"... looking around you, you will understand why such a name...

Dinner and night in gite.

Day 8 - Azizal region / Transfer to Marrakech

Before we go back to Marrakech we will enjoy a last ride to say goodbye to the local population crossing green fields and mud houses. Then our car will drive us back to civilization to pack our bikes and find back the forgotten confort of a riad, contrast with the very simple lifetime moments you experienced with High Atlas mountains berbers.

Day 9 - Marrakech

We will drive you back to Marrakech airport, probably considering to buy you a mule for your next shuttles on your home spot .
