Endu'Rock the Casbah is our perfect enduro MTB trip in Morocco to enjoy the best trails of western High-Atlas mountains and share unforgottable moments with berebers in authentic villages in remote valleys during this 8 days MTB trip.

Day 1 - Amizmiz area

As soon as you arrived at Marrakech airport, Exoride's team will welcome you to take care of you and all your luggage. Before weyou start our maroccan adventure with us, we will go in our technical local in Marrakech to build the bikes and let bike cases and unnecessary things. After that, we will leave civilization behind us with a first internal transfer in direction of High-Atlas mountains to reach the first step of Endu'Rock the Casbah trip, a remote guesthouse at 2'000 meters high. You will immediatly understand what adventure and stunning scenery means in this place of Morocco.

Depending arrival time, we can have a first ride as warm up, and use the first 1'000 meters of vertical drop of this singletrack for a last bike check and discovering your new playground before a delicious tajine and traditional mint tea.

Day 2 - Amizmiz area

After a traditional copious and powerful breakfast, we will start this morning with a first 17km long trail, mixing flowy and pedaling section and more technical section all along a remote valley and its dry river bed, that will keep us down on a fun singletrack that will let you train your noseturns and lines. We will enjoy a dinner in front of the lake, before a new shuttle with the car

After one hour transfer, we gain some altitude again to discover our second trail, starting with a natural pumptrack first section with plenty freeride lines option to try to overtake your friend and be the first to ride the fast following line part in a nice odorous pine forest. This awesome downhill finish down the valley where we find our drivers. We live Amizmiz area for a one hour and half transfer by car. The road offer stunning view of High-Atlas mountains, and at this time you will be probably already won by Morocco.

1 hour 40 transfer by car to  Ouirgane area. Dinner and night in a familial guesthouse.

Jour 3 - Ouirgane area

You will never forget this riding day for sure. After a first transfer by car using an awesome gravel road going all along a huge and wild valley aand trough remote villages full of life, we will start at 2'000 meters high point to ride a first flowy trail where you will probably experience some drift on this dry and fun terrain, before continuing a more technical section down a typical village. After having lunch in traditional family, we will use mules to help us carrying our bikes to the next pass. During the two hours hicking you will enjoy the scenery and be surprise by efficiency of those mules, asking yourself why you never buyed one for your home spot. After leaving the mules, we  will ride an awesome freeride dusty slope where you will let your tires streaks. 

To finish this day, we will use a latest eight kilometers down trail absolutly awesome. Pumping section and turns with a maximum speed... to join by bike our host village to benefit hammam, a huge couscous and a quiet night, dreaming about all these unforgottable moments.

Day 4 - Asni area

We will ride two different trails for this journey in Asni area. The first one will immediatly wake up your mind with a first rocky section, that totally contrast with the sooooo smooth following section 

After a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, we start again by a short car transfer to discover our last trail of the day mixing up and down section on a red soil, before riding down Ourika valley on a last flowy section on schiste.

1 hour transfer by car, diner and night in gite.

Jour 5 - Oukaimden area

Oukaimden ski resort is our start point for our two upcoming days. After few minutes enjoing first choice point of view on Toubkal summit and stunning mountains around, we start by bike to join a first singleatrack where you will need all your attention as the first hundreds meters are technical and a little exposed. After this focused time, you can let the breaks off to follow a nice trail in a shadowed forest. Then we will take a time to pedal on a pleasant singletrack that will let you admire the highest snowy summits of Atlas mountains. As soon as all of us totally filled our memory stick with this stunning landscape, we will finished the last 10 kilometers awesome singletracks through cereal field.

We will have the opportunity to visit a argan oil factory to buy some natural product to take care of our body emptied from its energy by such awesome ride.

Dinner and night in Oukaimden..

Day 6 - Oukaimden / Ourika area

We start again from Oukaimden ski resort to ride a new option full of flow mix of terrain. This complete ride will let you train all aspect of riding with some opportunities to benefit your skills to train your style on all of those natural bumps. We will stop in a remote village to be hosted in a typical bereber family and discovering their simple lifestyle. We will continue with some amazing singletracks during afternoon with a short but intense uphill section of 15 minutes that will give us opportunity to get more riding time, until the cars down the valley.

1 hour transfer by car, dinner and night in ***hotel, wifi and external swimmingpool.

Day 7 - Aït Ourir area / Marrakech

One hour and half transfer from Aït Ourir to drive through remote and colorful valley, to ride a new area starting with different option that let everyone using his creativity using all natural jumps and turns in this stunning place, before a short pedaling section to take time for some "Salam Aleykum" to the friendly people in the villages we go through. You will experience a latest exclusive section on a beautiful red edge with a perfect slope.

After having lunch on a terrasse with 360 degrees view on what we discovered during this trip, we will drive back to Marrakech during afternoon to pack the bikes and slowy take time to come back to reality, living your latest moments of adventure in souk of Marrakech and its snake charmers.

Day 8 - Marrakech

It's time to say good bye and time to reajust the real life. Of course, before you leave, we take care of you and we drive you to Marrakech airport to let you take your flight back to your home spot, the head full of souvenirs and stories about your moroccan adventure.

What is my technical level?

  • Level 1/4

You already practice mountain biking and are already able to control your speed and your trajectories on uneven ground, lightly steep and without exposure. You can ride shorter, more technical portions on your local courses.

  • Level 2/4

You are a regular practitioner with past experiences on mountainous terrain. You control the ascent and descent on trails from moderate to steep sometimes with natural obstacles such as roots or rocks. You are able to cross small steps or rocks up to 20 centimeters high, uphill and downhill. Your experience lets you know when to walk when the terrain becomes too exposed or dangerous.

  • Level 3/4

You are a regular practitioner who appreciates technical and steep trails. You are comfortable on the dry as in the fat, uphill as downhill. You are able to easily ride a red track in a bikepark, climb steps up to 30 centimeters, uphill and downhill, and make small jumps in a controlled manner when the terrain requires it. In addition, you are comfortable with the exhibition. Your experience lets you know when to walk when the terrain becomes too exposed or dangerous.

  • Level 4/4

You are an experienced practitioner with more than five years of regular practice. Your skills allow you to confidently tackle all types of natural or artificial obstacles. Wet roots, stones, very steep terrain, tight pins requiring noseturns, jumps, gaps and drops. You are comfortable on courses classified black bikepark or have already participated in several competitions. Your experience lets you know when to walk when the terrain becomes too exposed or dangerous.

What is my physical level?

  • Level 1/4

You are rather sporty and do regular physical activities. You are able to do about 3 to 4 hours of regular mountain biking on a daily basis over a period of up to 4 consecutive days.

  • Level 2/4

You are a regular sportsman and do physical activities of about half an hour at least 2 to 3 times a week. You are able to do about 4 to 6 hours of mountain biking daily at a steady pace over a period of up to 6 consecutive days. You are also able to push and carry your MTB on long portions.

  • Level 3/4

You are a regular sportsman and do physical activities of about 45 minutes at least 3 to 4 times a week. You are able to do 6 hours or more of ATV every day by feeling comfortable in the effort at a steady pace over a period of up to 6 consecutive days. You are also able to make long climbs push and carry your MTB on long runs.

  • Level 4/4

You are an experienced sportsman and do physical activities of 45 minutes or more at least 5 times a week. You are able to do 6 hours or more of mountainbiking daily by feeling comfortable in the effort at a steady pace over a period of more than 6 consecutive days. You are also able to make long climbs push and carry your mountainbike on long runs.

To make the most of this program, only all-mountain / enduro all-suspension bicycles (between 140 and 180 front-to-rear travel) are allowed in order to respect the homogeneity of the group. If this program is for e-bikes, the battery should offer good autonomy.

If you do not have a suitable mountainbike or e-mountainbike or do not want to travel with your own, Exoride offers MTB or e-MTB rental at a good price. This option is available in the registration form.

If you come with your own bike, thank you to have it completely revised in a shop and change the wear parts before your departure (tires, brake pads, ...)
  • The rider

A complete and detailed list of the equipment to be provided will be sent to you before your departure. For the ride, you will need to be equipped with an enduro jet helmet or with detachable chin strap (highly recommended), kneepads, a windbreaker, a backpack with integrated protection, a multitool, a replacement derailleur hanger for your bike, an inner tube with presta valve and a survival blanket.

Exoride offers advantageous packs for the rental of certain protections. These options are available in the registration form for this trip.

What assurances?

  • Illness and accident

Health and accident insurance coverage is mandatory. You must make sure that it covers you in the mountain biking and risky sports, the mountain air evacuation in the country of the stay of your choice.

In addition to your insurance, we strongly encourage you to join the REGA so to complete your services in the event of an accident in the mountains.

  • Cancellation

Do not risk losing the cost of your stay or your flight in case of injury, illness or personal emergency. Purchase a cancellation insurance or check the coverage of this kind of damage. By paying your stay and your flight with your Mastercard or Visa credit card you can already be insured to cover these costs.
